In an already developed neighbourhood sits this now abandoned home that was built in 1978. Almost completely original this house has only seen a few minor alterations over the years.

Located on a large piece of property the lot is ripe for redevelopment into higher density housing. Along with three neighbouring lots, this home will be demolished and currently has a zoning application to have 39 townhomes take its place.

This particular area of the country does not have a lot of available vacant land and this is why we see relatively new homes like this, being replaced with higher density housing.

Interestingly, this property was recently listed for sale for just $1. This is a tactic that some people use to draw attention to listings in order to start a bidding war. No property in this country would ever sell for such a low price on the open market.
