Calcium Hydroxide is prepared by extraction of clam shells. The first step is to collect the clams from the lakes or sea. After collecting the shells and meat is separated by boiling. The meat is edible and it can be used for preparing several dishes. The shell is then treated with high temperature for almost 4 hours to convert in to calcium hydroxide. After applying high temperature it can be packed and used as a fertilizer for different uses.
