Chordplay - The Chords Of The Yardbirds

Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Chordplay with The Chords Of The Yardbirds. I've had requests to feature some legendary music from The Yardbirds, and also a number of requests to feature more music from the three absolute guitar legends that played with this historic group, so I hope this lesson fills all of those requests, as this is the first time I've featured them on the LNL channel - let's dive in!

This lesson revolves around five classic albums by The Yardbirds, and sheds some light on each famous incarnation of the group in the mid/late 1960s. Including examples from Clapton, Beck, and Page as this lesson unfolds. This includes chord-based and rhythm guitar parts from songs such as Got To Hurry, Jeff's Boogie, Smile On Me, Rack My Mind, I Ain't Got You, along with looking at both the Clapton and Beck version of the Howlin' Wolf classic Smokestack Lightning.
