BMW X5 X6 F15/F16 Brake Change

DIY on how to change the brake pads, rotors and sensors on a F15/F16 BMW X5 or X6.

Tools you'll need:

Jack and 2+ Ton Jack Stands
17mm socket to remove the wheel lug bolts
Brake pad sensor -
7mm hex for 3/8 socket wrench for 35i, 35d
9mm hex for 3/8 socket wrench for 50i

I used a 9/16 universal star to remove the torx for the caliper braket

6mm hex to remove the set screw for the rotors

Tips:
When taking rotor off first time, hit at the out edge of the rotor, not directly at the hub.
A weighted 3lb hammer would help

Always pump the brakes after any brake change
