With contract negotiations between striking Newton educators and the city’s School Committee continuing, National Education Association President Becky Pringle is scheduled to speak at a union rally Wednesday morning at the Newton Education Center.

The Newton Teachers Association is affiliated with the NEA, the country’s largest labor union. Pringle will speak at a rally addressing one of the NTA’s core bargaining issues – living wages for the aides and behavioral therapists, known as Unit C members. January 31, 2024
