This big-band tribute album is included in a box set of budget jazz and Latin albums I picked up at a thrift store for 50 cents for 10 stereo LPs- a bargain I have never since topped in budget records.

Mind some of the tracks on both sides, the record copy I received, and my attempt to flatten the record, which left some artifacts I have tried to remove here.

Ed Lowe was a made-up generic mass artist attribution- a common practice for budget labels throughout the industry's history.

When this box set was issued, we see there was some tape exchange agreement between SPC and the Bihari Brothers (The Polynesian and Glenn Miller Orchera Members tracks being the biggest giveaway). This shows the interconnectedness of many of these labels, who would allow other labels to use their material in exchange for favors, namely material from the back catalog they were interested in reissuing.
