US mum documents autistic son trying foods to raise awareness on feeding challenges | SWNS

A devoted mother has taken the internet by storm after posting videos of her son trying different foods to raise awareness about the challenges faced by parents with autistic children.

Zachary, 26, has autism and aphasia, a developmental disability that can cause significant social, communication and behavioural challenges.

His mother Jennifer began documenting Zach trying all kinds of food in 2021 and has been amazed how popular the social posts have become - particularly with parents of autistic children.

The videos have received millions of views on social media platforms TikTok and Instagram - with one reaching over five million views.

Zach’s reactions to the different textures and flavours, from broccoli to steaks and even Vegemite, have warmed hearts all over the internet.
