Columbro argues that as large language models (LLMs) become commoditized, true innovation will happen through open collaboration and the next generation of AI agents built on top of open infrastructure. “Europe shouldn’t reinvent the wheel,” he says. “It should invest in open source and grow its local commercial ecosystem.”
