Level 1: Presta - Venice (Harder)
Total Attempts: 250

I spent around 216 attempts looking for coin before giving up and looking it up, and then another 33 attempts practicing the coin route to make sure I was doing it right, and then proceeded to beat the level first try in normal mode. This is definitely a cool level overall to start the gauntlet, but the coin is pretty dumb in my opinion…

Level 2: Lyriaki - Golem (Insane)
Total Attempts: 69

This level has a super unique and cool look and feel which is something that’s hard to come by in Geometry Dash these days so I really appreciated it from an artistic and creative perspective, but I found the gameplay itself to be super awkward and difficult to sight-read. Some parts sync really well with the music while other parts feel completely arbitrary and unrelated to the song, and a lot of the inputs have to be super early as well which makes it feel even more awkward, like for example if you jump right at some of the indicators in the first section you die, so you have to jump right before them. Still though, I can’t say I disliked the level. I just had to practice it a lot more than I normally do for 8-star levels and memorize several sections and transitions that were tripping me up at first.

Level 3: Knots - Crystal Corridor (Easy Demon)
Total Attempts: 449

I spent about 250 attempts figuring out the coins on my own and I had a lot of fun doing so. I then spent around 100 attempts practicing them since they’re all kinda tricky - particularly the second one. Not only is Knots one of the best creators out there in general but he’s also one of the best coin-route designers in my opinion. His coins always take a while to figure out and always add an additional and fun challenge if you go for them, but they’re never completely impossible to figure out without looking up a replay so the process is thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. And as always with Knots the deco is his own unique brand and the gameplay is really fun as well. I hope to play through every level by Knots at some point because I’ve never seen a bad one! A+ for this one!!!

Level 4: Vizitek - Silhouette Garden (Easy Demon)
Total Attempts: 92

The deco style in this level is like nothing I’ve ever seen before and I love it, plus the sync is absolutely flawless which makes it very fun to play as well. The raw gameplay is actually very straightforward and easy to read but the windows are tight enough that it’s still challenging. Fantastic level in all aspects!

Level 5: ImMaxX1 - Radiant Rift (Easy Demon)
Total Attempts: 435

I spent nearly 400 attempts figuring out the first two coins because I didn’t realize you had to skip a specific orb earlier in the level for each of them to become possible, but once I learned the coin routes both the level itself as well as the coins were actually pretty easy. For this reason it felt kinda weird to end the gauntlet on a level which seemed easier than both of the prior levels, but that’s not really a criticism of the level itself - only of its placement in the gauntlet. The coins weren’t my favorite since figuring them out felt very arbitrary and they didn’t really add much extra challenge once I knew what to do, but the level itself was still very cool with lots of detail and movement and great sync with the music. Good stuff!

The Knots and Vizitek levels were by far my favorites in this gauntlet but the other three were pretty cool as well so I pretty much enjoyed the entire experience except for the dumb coin in the first level and the mediocre coins in the last level.
