Is There Any Fee When Using PayPal?

It is free to open a new PayPal account.

PayPal charges a transaction fee for each payment you receive.

Xero Automatically Records PayPal Transaction Fees.

Set up Xero to manage your PayPal fees automatically.

When a customer pays an invoice through the PayPal method, Xero creates a spend money transaction for the transaction fee.

This makes it simple to reconcile.

Note: If you manually approve payments, Xero records the payments as pending and does not create the spend money transactions.

When you email an invoice to your customer, the online payment link opens a PayPal window.

Your customer will have to log in to PayPal before competing the payment.

Add Branding Themes

The first PayPal account that you have connected to Xero will be added to your branding themes automatically.

When you have more than one PayPal account, you will need to apply the branding themes manually.

You should set up instant payment notifications (in your PayPal account).

You will be able to receive notifications when you receive a PayPal payment.
