राजस्थान विधानसभा की सात सीट पर होने वाले उपचुनाव में नागौर की खींवसर सीट सबसे हॉट सीट बनी हुई है... हनुमान बेनीवाल की आरएलपी का गढ़ मानी जाने वाली इस सीट पर इस बार भी त्रिकोणीय मुकाबला है। बेनीवाल ने यहां गढ़ बचाने के लिए अपनी पत्नी कनिका बेनीवाल पर दांव खेला है.. जो भाजपा के रेवंतराम डागा और कांग्रेस की रतन चौधरी को टक्कर देगी। हनुमान बेनीवाल ने इस बार भी अपने परिवार में टिकट देने की परंपरा को जारी रखा है, क्योंकि जब से आरएलपी पार्टी का गठन हुआ है. तब से लेकर अभी तक, हनुमान बेनीवाल ने खींवसर विधानसभा सीट से सिर्फ अपने परिवार में ही टिकट दिया है. वहीं इस बार उन्होंने अपनी पत्नी कनिका बेनीवाल को मैदान में उतारा है। 2023 के विधानसभा चुनाव में खींवसर सीट से हनुमान बेनीवाल करीब ढाई हजार वोट से ही जीत हासिल कर पाए थे। ऐसे में कनिका बेनीवाल के सामने विरासत बचाने की चुनौती होगी। माना जा रहा था कि खींवसर से हनुमान बेनीवाल के भाई नारायण बेनीवाल का नाम फाइनल था.. मगर, हनुमान बेनीवाल ने आखिरी समय में कनिका बेनीवाल के नाम पर मुहर लगाकर सभी को चौंका दिया।
