Here it is, the MTB trail I've been building on my parents land! It's called Dirty Chub Trail. The name of the trail plays off the name of my parents farm which is Chub Creek Farm. This is just the beginning and I plan to start adding features in soon.

In this video you'll get the full rundown of what there is so far. I've started with one main trail that runs through the woods on the top of a ridge and ends with a really fun and gnarly step down. Then I added a short downhill shoot with some tight turns and a little jump out. And lastly I added a return trail to bring you back up to the start. I really haven't built any jumps or berms yet, just cleared out the trails and used the natural slopes of what was already there.

I've been staying down here at Chub Creek Farm for almost 2 weeks now. The main reason being that I, like many people, got laidoff from my job due to covid. I saw this as a good opportunity to spend some time on the farm while things chill out. My parents moved here after I had moved to Minneapolis so this is my first time living at the farm. I've always enjoy spending time here and there's a nice little shack that I've been able to call my own for the time being so I can still have my own space. It's also been nice spending more quality time with my parents and helping them out with things around the farm.

Growing up we had some woods on our property which I spent a majority of my time building trails and riding them on my BMX bike. Building Dirty Chub Trail has brought me back to my roots and has made me feel a bit like a kid again. Being out in the woods by myself working on these trails has been like therapy for me. There's also a real sense of satisfaction riding what I've built and I love it.

Like I said this is just the start of the trails out here and I would love any and all input for what and where I should build. So please leave a comment of what you think about it and if you have any ideas! I've also been thinking about making a big skinny system either connected to this trail or out in the open somewhere so it'd be it's own thing. Let me know if you'd like to see that happen. There's a ton more land here to explore and build on. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of elevation but I'll try and see that as an opportunity to be more creative.
