Hello my name is Amogh, and welcome back to my Youtube channel Bikerholic. I hope you guys are doing great. This is my Mumbai to leh, Ladakh ride series.
In this episode, I begin my journey from the stunning blue waters of Pangong Lake and ride deep into one of the most remote and surreal regions of Ladakh — Hanle.
This route is raw, isolated, and absolutely breathtaking, with endless high-altitude deserts, no network, and nothing but pure Himalayan wilderness around.
On the way, I visited the emotional and historic Rezang La War Memorial, built in honor of the brave soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment who fought heroically in the 1962 Indo-China war. Standing there at 16,000+ ft, surrounded by silence and mountains, is an experience that hits hard and stays with you. 🙏🇮🇳
The ride continues toward Hanle, home to one of the world’s highest astronomical observatories and some of the darkest skies on Earth. The landscapes shift from blue lakes to golden plains, making this one of the most unique rides in the entire Ladakh circuit.
