Galaga Assault Arcade

The game is played with an 8 way joystick and one single button for shooting. Galaga Assault has two modes: Redemption Mode (default) and Amusement Mode(the one in the video).

This mode is a simply updated version of Galaga for their arcades and it plays the same but i much more forgiving difficulty. The main mode of this game is the tickets redemption one and and it shows.

It plays just like the old school Galaga that players remember, with wave after wave of enemies to destroy. You need to beat 70 of them to finaly kill the mothership and beat the game, the challenge waves also returns.
New additions are the sharp HD graphics, remix techno soundtrack, the occasional Smart Bomb which if shot clears the screen of all opponents, a chain combo scoring system and every 10 wave you face down against the mothership boss for big points.

Up to 12 ships can be piloted at once, which can cover the entire battlefield at once. Both modes will display a QR code at the end of each game. This allows players to share their best scores on Facebook or Twitter. The game also has a leaderboard with 10 slots and space for up to 7 letters for name input.
