Gynecomastia develops because of hormonal imbalance. It can develop at any age. Side effects of various medications and drugs are also responsible for increasing breast tissue.

• Grade 1 small enlargement with slight swelling around the areola.
• Grade 2 moderate enlargement which expands the chest’s width with extra skin
• Grade 3 large breast tissue with extra skin over the chest that gives the appearance of the female breast.

Dr. Amit Gupta takes 35-40 minutes to perform gynecomastia surgery under local or general anesthesia.

• Patients should avoid heavy exercise for up to one week.
• A compression garment should wear for 16-18 hours a day till the final result
• After a one-week chest massage must start to maintain the chest shape.
