RECOMMENDED MEASUREMENT FOR BABIES.
To make the perfect Tutu, you’ll need the waist measurement as well as the tutu length measurement.
The waist measurement is the most important measurement & it can be done by measuring around her waist (preferably while she’s standing straight...someone needs to be supporting her if she’s a baby please) make sure that the measuring tape is not too loose while taking this measurement.

Tutu length is measured from the waist down to the area of leg you would like the Tutu to fall. Please note that the tutu is shorter when it’s poofy.

If you can measure your little princess, it works best however if you can’t, you can definitely work with the recommendations I’ve put below, they might not be as accurate as true measurements but they shouldn’t be too far apart.

New born baby
Waist: 14-15”
Elastic size: 12”
Tulle Length: 8”
Finished length 4”

3-9 months baby
Waist: 18-19”
Elastic size: 15”
Tulle Length: 12”
Finished length 6”

9-24months
Waist: 19-20”
Elastic size: 16”
Tulle Length: 14”
Finished length 7”

2-3 years
Waist: 20”
Elastic size: 17”
Tulle Length: 18”
Finished length 9”

4-5 years
Waist: 21 -22”
Elastic size: 17.5-18”
Tulle Length: 20”
Finished length 10”

6-7 years
Waist: 22-23”
Elastic size: 18”
Tulle Length: 24”
Finished length 12”
