Hello everybody, SlimKirby here and welcome to my new weekend project, Super Smash Bros!

This game first released during the Spring of 1999, but back then, nobody knew of the type of success that this franchise would have! But now, fifteen years later, this series has become a staple of Nintendo and video games in general. And with two new games on the horizon, the hype is definitely real!

Every week I will be playing as one character in the Single Player Mode (I may increase to two characters as we get closer to the date of the 3DS release, but for now, I also want to complete the Advance Wars War Room too....). I will unlock all of the secret characters, stages, and play options and also showcase some VS. play as well. At the end of every video, I will post a discussion topic that you guys can answer (preferably on twitter with the #SmashHype tag at the end of the post, but feel free to post the comments here as well). Hopefully this will get us all hyped up for the 3DS version of the game this summer and the Wii U version in December (depending on the success of this project, I may do the same thing with Melee as we get closer to the Wii U release).

Today I will be playing as Mario, the portly plumber from the Super Mario Bros. games and at the time of this game's release, the highly influential Super Mario 64. He's a very capable fighter with great all-around abilities!
