Folding & Sewing - Rounded and Backed Cased Book // Adventures in Bookbinding

Описание к видео Folding & Sewing - Rounded and Backed Cased Book // Adventures in Bookbinding

This is part one of four on making a rounded and backed cased book. In a cased book the cover and bookblock are made separately and brought together in an operation called casing-in. In this video I will sew the bookblock.

These videos are only possible thanks to the support of Patreons, and if you are able, your support would be greatly appreciated.

The finishing press I use in the video. It's the 350mm between screws version. I think finishing press would be a better description than edge gilding press. But they emphasise this for use with their heated edge gilding roller.
