Tribute to Liam (Zack) MacGabhann From O'Neill & Allsopp Memorial Flute Band

We said goodbye to our friend and comrade Liam MacGabhann (Zack) on Tuesday.

We were delighted and heartbroken at the same time that the family asked the band to play a full part in his funeral. It was great to see so many at his funeral, but this wasn't surprising as he had friends everywhere.

We will always miss his craic and the fond memories we all had over the years. His musical talent was unbelievable and no matter where he went in the world he left people with the memory of his talent.

He traveled everywhere with the band, from local Óglach commemorations to commemorations all over the country, to march with our friends and comrades in Scotland and England, and to as far away as Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria. We will miss him so much.
