Enjoy my reaction as I watch and give my "Old Lady" perspective on the next chapter in the DCEU (or not): Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn! Margot Robbie really carried this whole movie on her back. Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina, Ella Jay Basco, Ali Wong, and Ewan McGregor all do their best with the less-than-stellar material they were given. The style is there but the substance . . . ? Not so much.
