#FYP: this day started off freaking awesome. First stop, 1st cast I quarter a 2 pounder on a spinnerbait. My boater was not even ready to net my fish, thats how quick it was 😂 how good this day started. A few cast later, I caught my second fish another two pounder. A few casts later I caught a striper and he was barely a pound. But the next case, I caught my third fish. Ladies and gentlemen, I had three fish in the livewell all before 8 AM. it took a minute to get the fourth one he finally came on a shaky head which was another two pounder and the rest of the day it was it was just tough. It was like the bite shut off and they were not estimg anymore. We could see them schooling all around us, but we could never get one. And I caught a catfish and when I tell y’all, this was the prettiest catfish I’ve ever seen in my life. that sucker was beautiful but we were on to the next. Finish the fay with 4 fish for a little iver 8lbs and just shy of a check. But i was disqualified because we missed our weigh time 🤦🏽‍♀️ . But still it was by far the best day of my MLF tournament. my boater just like the others I’ve had in these tournaments was awesome. I have not had a bad experience in these tournaments and I pray that streak continues. I’m telling y’all that there is nothing like having a boater and a coangler that can coexist on the boat, get along with each other, respect each other and are in it 100% purely for the love of fishing. Days like this are needed and I am so grateful to be blessed with this opportunity. I hope you enjoy this video.
