Then, during science class, their teacher, Ms. Marklin, assigns them a project on the lunar eclipse, which makes Lila even more frantic because the last time they had a solo project — hers on mold — put everyone to sleep! So they immediately set out for Polly's family's island in the South Pacific to see it up close. Of course, someone secretly sabotages part of the project as soon as they get back (wanna take a guess?) However, Polly and her friends didn't let this setback discourage them. They came up with a brilliant backup plan, showcasing the power of teamwork through Ana's artistic drawings, Shani's laptop skills, Lea's brainpower, and Lila's written portion of the project. Their resilience and collaboration left the class in complete amazement and awe, earning the girls an A+ and the opportunity to play at the dance.
