This ME trains used to be privately owned by metronom train company in Germany. In 2005 Arriva Trains took over the majority of the company. The company headquarters are in Uelzen. All operations are passenger only and service some regional Hamburg connections to Uelzen, Hannover, Göttingen and Cuxhaven. All rail stock is rented today from a different state transport company (LNVG). In this video I filmed many metronom trains close to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof from a bridge hauled by a Class 146. It was a beautiful spring day in Hamburg on April 11th 2011.
