Finally, an actual boss battle.

Druidle has a set attack pattern where he counts to three then shoots a line of flame out of his staff. This flame snakes through the same certain path towards the right between the stone blocks and jars each time. You can't move while the flame is in motion.

Of course I forget the pattern on my first attempt. Thankfully, this stage is unlimited in its retries like any other.

Once you get the rhythm of his attacks down and learn the proper hiding places, this is actually pretty easy. And you can let Druidle do some of the work for you. You can actually stack four blocks and hit him four times in a row, also. Am I the only one that considers it poetic justice that I used Druidle's own flames to cut ice into blocks to defeat him?

And the end of his dying speech is so much reminiscent of Zeromus from Final Fantasy IV and other "I'll be back" endings, heh.
