Part of Screen Wexford's "Remote Working in Post Production for the Future" conference. The event saw a series of online workshops and in-house conference aimed at individuals who work in special effects, film editing and sound.

Webinar host Joe Rigby, will talk to Nigel G Honey, Ability Academy, about the best practices and strategies to enhance your workflow while working from anywhere. The workshop will delves into effective Avid setups tailored for remote post-production environments.

Nigel G Honey has over 27+ years editing experience as a TV/Film Editor for BBC, ITV, IMG, STV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and SKY while also running video editing courses in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro and Black Magic Davinci Resolve for over 5 years all over the UK, Europe, and China.

He sees both Virtual Production and Post Production converging and teaches skills that crossover between sectors.

He founded the Ability (Post Production) Academy Ltd to bring more diversity and inclusion in post production, after having been told he would never be a Film and TV Editor with Bi-Polar and that he was the wrong ‘Type’ of person to work for the BBC. He went on to edit feature films for Aberdeen, BAFTA, Cannes, Raindance and also worked on this year’s Summer Paralympics in Paris, France. Nigel is on the Board of Governors of the British Film Editors for Inclusion and Diversity.
