Forest of Dean, oh boy where do I start. Well that's easy to answer, just go!. FOD is only 2 ish hours from mine and is totally worth the car journey. You pay for parking which is easy enough and cheap enough for the entire day and the Forest is all yours.


The skills area is a cracking place to start. Get warmed up and then hit the trails, or warm up on the blue/red loops before hitting some of the more narly trails. This is only the 2nd time I've been, what a place. Meeting up with Darcy who showed us the trails. Cheers buddy.


There's so much to pick from. Some stuff in FOD is way beyond my skill set, but it was epic to watch others do it with ease. Not jelous at all LOL.


So my best advice is this. Go there and just have a cracking time. That'll be easy I must say. It's such a good place to shred. The cafe will sort you right out for food and drink so take your bank card. The edit say the rest. Please enjoy!..
