A counter drone system must be sited carefully for maximum effectiveness. Poor siting is a common problem for the industry.

In this demo, a KML layer for the Oval in London is uploaded into CloudRF for use with the Best Site Analysis (BSA) function.
This powerful GPU function uses a Monte-Carlo simulation technique with high resolution LiDAR to return the best, and worst, options for siting a sensor in the area.
As it's more than just height, low areas with good visibility of the sky are recommended.

BSA was published in July 2022 on both CloudRF and SOOTHSAYER.
