How to Strip A Vintage Washstand + Repurposed Cottage Core Nightstand

Antique Furniture Refinishing | Cottage Style Master Bedroom

This beautiful antique washstand was a gift given to me by my Aunt and Uncle. They had no use for it any longer and knew I love antique furniture. Technically this piece probably didn't need to be refinished. It had minor damages and I could tell it had previously been restored as well.

But if you have been watching a while you probably know I recently refinished another washstand and plan to use both of them as bedside tables in my cottage-style master bedroom.

Therefore, since I had to refinish the first one, I had to refinish this one to make them a "pair". Because this washstand only had stain and varnish on it I felt like I could get away with an easier process than using a chemical stripper.
