Once again, reality exceeded all expectations: the VIECC Vienna Comic Con and the VCA Vienna Challengers Arena 2018 were not only the best in their history, but also the most colorful, thematically broadest, largest, most visited and thus most successful of their kind that Austria has ever experienced. For two days (17 and 18 November), exactly 26,387 fans – from nerds and gamers to families – and a total of 390 exhibitors transformed the Messe Wien into the epicenter of pop culture.
