Jerry Fratcher's home movies from rural Pennsylvania in the mid 1960s and beyond.

Описание к видео Jerry Fratcher's home movies from rural Pennsylvania in the mid 1960s and beyond.

When Jerry Fratcher was a young boy growing up in the 1960s, his family spent quality time at their property in rural Pennsylvania. Frequently other family and friends would join them. There are plenty of stories of the great times that were had by all. Jerry grew up in this environment and these experiences helped shape the person he is today. Take a trip back to the mid 1960s and maybe a little earlier and definitely a little later. Jerry's father owned an 8mm camera. His son, Tim Fratcher, recently had these films digitized. The quality you see here is about as good as you are going to get for amateur filmmaking that is sixty or so years old. Sometimes the result was out of focus. Sometimes the film was over or under exposed. Sometimes the camera was held sideways or upside-down. But, more often than not, the result looks great. Regardless, you still get a sense of what Jerry and his family and friends were experiencing at the time.
