BlephEx is a novel treatment for blepharitis and dry eye. Our eyelids get coated with a buildup of rancid oils, old makeup, bacterial biofilm, dead cells, and even mites. This plugs up the oils gland openings that are essential to delivering oils to our tear film to avoid evaporative tear loss and severe red/dry eyes. These buildup issues also can contribute to oil cysts in the eyelid that need surgical drainage, infections, red/swollen eyes and eyelids, crusting, mattering, and eye discomfort and blurriness.
