In today's Bridgewood Kids Online Experience we will learn how we can use God's Word in our lives! We'll see how the Bible is not only a good book, but how it can change the way we live our lives! Tune in to see the story unfold! This is all played out in an exciting experience that encompasses SO many fun elements! Some exciting worship, an interactive lesson and Trivia Time!

TRIVIA TIME!

1. The Wilderness Test
Ask: Where was Jesus when the devil came to tempt Him?
Answer: In the wilderness.
Connect: Jesus was alone, tired, and hungry. This reminds us that the enemy often tries to tempt us when we are weak or having a hard day.

2. Waiting for a Weak Moment
Ask: Why do you think the devil waited until Jesus was hungry and tired to tempt Him?
Answer: Because he thought Jesus would be easier to trick.
Connect: The enemy still tries to tempt us when we are tired, upset, or distracted. That’s why staying close to God every day is so important.

3. Forty Days
Ask: How many days did Jesus go without eating before He was tempted?
Answer: Forty days.
Connect: That was a very long time! Even when Jesus was very weak physically, He stayed strong spiritually by trusting God.

4. Three Temptations
Ask: How many times did the devil try to tempt Jesus?
Answer: Three times.
Connect: The enemy didn’t give up right away, but Jesus stayed strong every time by using God’s Word.

5. The Sword of the Spirit
Ask: What did Jesus use to fight back against the devil’s temptations?
Answer: God’s Word (the Bible).
Connect: The Bible is called the Sword of the Spirit. We don’t use it to hurt people—we use it to fight lies and temptation with truth.

6. Saying No to Lies
Ask: When the devil tempted Jesus, what did Jesus say back?
Answer: He quoted Scripture (Bible verses).
Connect: Jesus knew God’s Word so well that He could use it right away. Knowing Scripture helps us say “no” to lies and “yes” to God.

7. Using the Bible as a Weapon
Ask: What is one way we can use the Bible as a weapon?
Answer: Reading it, saying verses out loud, praying Scripture, remembering what God says is true.
Connect: Every time we use God’s Word, we are choosing truth over lies and strength over fear.

8. Memory Matters
Ask: Why do you think it’s important to memorize God’s Word?
Answer: So we can remember it when we need help.
Connect: We won’t always have a Bible in our hands, but when God’s Word is in our hearts, we can use it anytime.

9. Verse Memory Tips
Ask: What are some ways we can memorize Bible verses?
Ideas: Saying it with motions, singing it, writing it down, saying it before bed, practicing with family.
Connect: Learning Scripture can be fun! The more we practice, the easier it gets.

10. Faith Fact
Ask: If you remember only one thing from today’s lesson, what should it be?
Answer: I will use God’s Word.
Interactive: Have kids pretend to hold a sword, then say together:
“I will use God’s Word!”
