Audio quality comparison - Yamaha MONTAGE M and original MONTAGE - can you hear the difference?

The Yamaha MONTAGE has a great audio output system, but Yamaha says that they made improvements for MONTAGE M with the upgraded 'Pure Analog Circuit 2', which 'reduces noise and improves the dynamic range, crosstalk, low-frequency phase, and distortion rate, resulting in clearer sound at all volumes'.

Various users have said that they can hear the benefits, even with sounds that are present on the first generation MONTAGE, so I figured I'd make very high quality recordings from the balanced outputs of both synthesizers, then cut between them to see if the difference is audible.

So, if you are interested in the comparison, or if you just want to hear the Montage and Montage M playing some demo songs, this video is for you.

To avoid any factors that could influence the output, I volume-matched both synths and recorded a selection of performance auditions that are available on both MONTAGE and MONTAGE M, to see if there are perceptible differences in the output when they are playing the exact same thing.

While uploading videos here squashes the audio quality and as such the audio differences, if any, may be more difficult to hear, the recordings were made at 192 kHz / 24 bit, and the same quality was maintained throughout the video edit.
