YTV is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by YTV Canada, Inc, a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment. Launched on 1st September 1988, it replaced two programming services operated by various Ontario cable companies from the 1970s, and its programming is targeted at children and young teenagers.
