Buckhead residents ‘excited’ to vote on secession | Morning in America

Residents of an affluent neighborhood in Atlanta called Buckhead want to secede from the city — a move that has gotten praise and criticism from elected officials. Now, two bills that would allow residents to vote on creating Buckhead City have moved on to the Georgia Senate.
Bill White, CEO of the Buckhead City Committee, says this is a historic vote.
“We are so excited,” he said on “Morning in America.”
