Get this stuff together before you attempt this project:

Torque wrench set to 20 ft lbs
Spark plug gapper set 4 plugs to 1mm
Socket set (need 8mm)
Spark plug socket 5/8
4 new plugs
Quantity of 4 Champion RA8HC or NGK DCPR7E (Oreilly, Auto Zone Advance had the NGK but no Champion)

This Mercury 60hp outboard FourStroke is mounted on a 2022 Party Barge 20 DLX. This is the end of year 3. The owner's manual calls for a change every 300 hours or 3 years. I am right at the end of year 3 so when I started feeling the slightest miss at 1000 rpms in the No Wake Zone I know something was amiss. My first step at troubleshooting was to fully charge the battery as I had let it run down several times this summer. That way I could rule out any voltage issue from having a nearly dead battery and a trim, radio, power bimini top, and other extras all drawing power on it. Many people will tell you that a battery will not make an engine miss, but if the battery is low enough it will completely shut off the engine on this model if you power up the electric bimini top. I digress. I ruled out that it was not a dead battery by trickle charging the battery back to 100%. The miss was still present at 1000 rpms so I went to the autoparts store looking for Champion RA8HC spark plugs in a quantity of 4. No one had them so the nearest replacement was NGK DCPR7E. I had used NGK in many engines so for about $12 I purchased the NGK DCPR7E and took them to the boat along with my tools.
