Duane Vermeulen Being a WORKHORSE vs Australia | The Rugby Championship 2023

Duane might not be South Africa's first option at 8 with Jasper Wiese being in the form of his life, but Duane Vermeulen showed us he still has enough in the tank to make a valuable contribution for the Springboks in the World Cup. He had an amazing game vs Australia and was a workhorse that was involved in all aspects of the game. He also showed he is still a leader on this team and having him in the squad will be a massive benefit for the boks.

He will always be a fan favorite for Springbok fans and it's going to be a sad day when he retires, but he has showed us that he still has gas in that tank to end his career on a high note. This Rugby Championship is going to be great for him to get form for the World Cup as well as play in front of his home crowd for one last time.
