On March 27, 2016, members of the Liberian Community Association of Rhode Island (LCARO) went to the voting venue at 600 Broad Street, In Providence, to election another slate of officers for their community for the next two years. Competing for the presidency were, past president, and president re-elect, Winston Gould, and Alice Howard. We want to congratulate both of the candidates for conducting and running a peaceful and law-abiding election campaign. To President Re-Elect Gould, we say, "best wishes, ahead!"
