Thank you to the Cranbrook Historical Center Archives for sending me the information on Akloo ski hill. Check out their website here: https://www.cranbrookhistorycentre.com/

The city of Cranbrook in British Columbia is an ideal place to start a ski trip. The city lies in close proximity to resorts like Kimberly and Fernie, along with other Powder Highway resorts. However, during the 1970s, Cranbrook once boasted its own community ski hill, Akloo. While it's lifespan was short, it served as an important learning area, and provided Cranbrook with an easy ski hill.
