SWITZERLAND | HARDER KULM - Top Of Interlaken With Panoramic Views Of The Swiss Alps And Lakes

At an altitude of 1,323 meters or more than 4,300 feet above sea level. Harder Kulm boasts of spectacular views of Interlaken, Lake Thun, Lake Brienz and the three peaks of Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau,

A short 5-minute stroll from Interlaken Ost train station will get you to the Harderbahn funicular station. Then it is an 8-minute funicular ride with fantastic views of the valley below with the mountains as a backdrop. The funicular railway is more than 100 years old and transports you to 755 meters of railway with a 64% average incline.

What to do as shown in the video
1. Enjoy the stroll from Interlaken Ost (East) train station to Harderbahn. Stop at the bridge and admire the pristine Aare River.
2. If you can, sit at the end of the funicular when going up to enjoy unobstructed view of the valley below. Savor the ride as nature reveals itself as you go up the mountain.
3. Once at the top, there are several photo opportunities, both at the front and back of Panorama Restaurant.
4. Listen to the musicians perform. This is usually done at the evening around 6pm.
5. Dine at the Panorama Restaurant. We ordered two servings of the Plain Cheese Fondue and it was a lot! One serving would have been enough. We also ordered a jug of Rugenbrau draft beer and Ramseier Suure Moscht apple cider. Menu can be found in this website.

We also went to the Zwel-Seen-Steg or the Two Lakes Bridge right next to the restaurant but did not get any footage as there were so many people. It was difficult to get a good shot.
