Today, I’m sharing something very close to my heart—something I’ve learnt over the last 30 years of my marriage.

As most of you know, after I got married, I was only allowed to wear sarees. And slowly, those six yards of fabric became a huge part of my life—my identity…
Over the years, I’ve learnt how to love my sarees and, more importantly, how to take care of them properly.

From storing them the right way to making space for them even when there’s hardly any, I’ve done it all—sometimes with just one tiny cupboard! 😅 But today, our wardrobes aren’t just about sarees anymore, right? We wear western, Indian, fusion… a mix of everything! So we need to plan our wardrobes smartly—without wasting even an inch—and still do full justice to each and every outfit we own.

In today’s video, I’ve shared a lot of practical tips for storing your sarees which many of you have been asking me for a long time:

Should I hang my sarees or fold them ?What’s the best way to hang them without damaging the fabric?
How do I hang blouses with the saree—without everything slipping off the hanger?
How do I avoid that musty smell in clothes that I don’t wear often?

And soooo many more useful things I wish someone had told me when I was younger!

Believe me, every little trick I’ve shared comes from years of trial, error, and pure love for my sarees. 💖
