India has had her share of famous physicians and surgeons, yet the statistics bear a dismal picture- females still have a lesser share, especially in Surgery.
Dr. Veena Singh dissects the root of the problem while sharing her own story and discusses how this problem can be addressed at multiple levels - society, family and work environment. She believes that all in all it is one's passion and commitment towards her career that sees all adversities through.

Coming from a family that questioned every decision she made saying it was "reserved for boys", she is a proof that an individual's gender can't be a barrier for their choice of profession.
