Hi Peeps, since launching my channel with a jingle, I was thinking why not include another classic Christmas Hymn?

Here’s a shootout between 2 semi-hollow jazz guitars; an awesome Ibanez MIJ John Scofield model (JSM100) vs the iconic Gibson ES335.

Both guitars are played with neck pickup selected, direct via Garageband using the ‘Clean Guitar’- ‘Cool Jazz Combo’ library sound.


About Guitar Shootout Videos

Guitar Unker’s guitar shootout videos are entirely homemade and recorded via Garageband using original library sounds.

Each video compares 2 or more guitars that are played over a continuous musical piece.

Each guitar track is configured to exact same settings, and each recording is played using the same pick, pickup position and string attack (best to my ability!).

These videos will be helpful if you:

- Are curious on how certain guitars sound against each other.
- Are in the market for a particular guitar(s) but has no opportunity to compare.
