Homayoun Sakhi is a legendary Afghan-American and
internationally recognized artist who has done
performances in Afghanistan, Pakistan, United States,
India, United Kingdom, Germany & many more with various
musicians of those countries & solo performances
as well. He collaborated with various internationally
recognized musicians on global stages.
Mr. Sakhi has a remarkable track record in Classical, Semi Classical, and afghan folk. His Rubab playing techniques have been mystery for young generation in Afghanistan and Pakistani region. He has students from United States, India, Afghanistan, Pakistan and UK etc. who have shown him great honor in Rubab World. He has a deep interest in organizing a workshop for his Pakistani students to learn the art of playing meaningful Rubab and to make awareness in Pakistan style of playing.
