《四季歌》最早来源于西北社火小调《花儿与少年》，在马步芳治理青海的时候，这首歌曲被王洛宾改编，以庆祝抗战胜利，从此一曲成名。

张尕怂，甘肃靖远人，西北民谣代表性音乐人，尕谣班子创办人，致力于传承和发扬西北音乐和文化；李敬进，甘肃兰州人，现专门进行甘肃“花儿”的收集整理研究工作，并创作了大量含有“花儿”音乐的歌曲，对甘肃“花儿”音乐的推广和创新起到推动作用。

The song was first adapted by Wang Luobin when Ma Bufang was governing Qinghai, to celebrate the victory of the war and became famous from then on.
