This is the third Service at Christ Lutheran Church Falmouth MA celebrating Cape Cod Lutherans during September 2022.
Today’s Celebrant is Pas. Tiffany Holleck, co-pastor of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Harwich West MA. We have used again a special liturgy created for worship in services at the Lutheran churches of Cape Cod. The goal is to observe the Lutheran parishes on our Cape Cod and join them directly by worship. The Gospel lesson for each service is the Feeding of the Five Thousand taken from the Gospel of John. A different version is read at each service. Each sermon looks at the passage from a different perspective. On the first Sunday the viewpoint of the young boy with the loaves and fishes was considered by Pastor Divino. Last Sunday Pastor Christian approached the passage from the perspective of Jesus. In the sermon you will hear now, Pastor Tiffany examines the viewpoint of the disciples.
