Welcome back to another vlog!

They say the hardest part is showing up, and this weekend, I showed up for myself in the biggest way. I ran my first ever half marathon! From couch to 21.1 km, this vlog shares the full journey, the nerves, the prep, the early mornings, and of course… all the food that fueled me along the way.
One thing I was super excited for was the carb loading, so this week we are making some delicious and hearty carb fueled meals like my dad’s egg & spam fried rice, creamy mushroom & tomato pasta, and juicy spaghetti & meatballs!
Running has become so much more than just exercise, it’s been a form of healing, growth, and rediscovery. I never thought I’d be here, but I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. Whether you're thinking of signing up for your first race or just here for the food, I hope this vlog reminds you to trust your body, fuel it well, and believe in yourself, even when it's hard. 💛
