Northern Central Steam Locomotive York 17 Steam Photo Special

In November 2021, Dynamo Productions operated an all day photographers special on the Northern Central Railway, formerly known as Steam Into History. The star of the day was Northern Central Railway 4-4-0 17, named the "York." This 2013-built Civil War era replica American type steam locomotive led a train of wooden passenger cars down the old NCR to spots that rarely see steam. This included the Civil War era house at Glatfelters Station, and Howard Tunnel, one of the oldest still active railroad tunnels in the United States.

With picture perfect weather and Civil War reenactors joining for scenes, it was a stellar day of photography and runbys. We thank the NCRR crews and volunteers for making the day as impressive as it was, as well as the 20+ photographers and friends who made the event possible.
