Car is an 07 C230 6MT Sport, factory flex fuel. Tuned on 93oct.

Engine Mods;
-K&N drop in filters
-M014 single-stage composite intake manifold
-82mm Throttle Body
-Stock Cats/Headers, swapped muffler.

Other stuff:
Big obnoxious splitter, Koni adjustable shocks, H&R lowering springs, H&R adjustable rear sway bar, CLK63 Black Series front sway bar.

Less than 200 wheel horsepower may not seem impressive, but we were pretty blown away by this little M272. The 2.5L is only good for 200 crank horsepower stock, and this one has seen a good deal of use at 138k miles. The single-stage composite manifold off of the 2009 SLK350 "Sport" M014 package and the accompanying 82mm throttle body clearly did a ton to wake this car up, as even though the 2.5 is notoriously more difficult to get power out of than the 3.0 or 3.5 M272, we managed to make almost as much whp as stock crank was rated to on a mustang dyno.

With correction, crank horsepower can be estimated to be improved by 30 or more over stock. Not too shabby for a modification that also increases reliability, and boy does it sound good.
