"In the event of a nuclear explosion, places like this will be absolutely useless."

Nationwide reporter Pattie Coldwell joins a group of South Yorkshire residents on a tour around the Council's secret nuclear bunker in Doncaster. The trip has been organised by the leader of the local council, Roy Thwaites - who has been told he'll have a place in the bunker in the event of a nuclear attack - in order to demonstrate how ineffective it is.

Originally broadcast 9 July, 1982.
